Safe in ischemic limbs

This patient has a chronic aortic occlu-sion and no pulses in her feet. The ulcer is a combined arterial, pressure, and venous ulcer. In spite of arte-rial insufficiency, we used Staytex™ on her to control swelling.

Wound was debrided with ultrasound and Anasept®.

Note prominent cornrow furrows in skin and on the granulation tissue of the wound surface, the result Staytex™ elastic compression.

This patient illustrates the principal that Staytex™ is comfortable, when skin is tender and compression is required.
